A safe and supportive space has opened in Bayankhongor Province—a place where girls can make their voices heard, ask questions freely, access accurate information, boost their self-confidence, and make choices about their futures. 💜
The “Girls’ Development Center” was established as part of the “Girls’ Power” project—an initiative implemented by the Mongolian Family Welfare Association with support from the Canada Fund—aimed at enhancing the development, protection, and sexual and reproductive health knowledge of adolescent girls in Bayankhongor Province.
Through this center, adolescent girls will gain access to:
🌱 Accurate and reliable information on sexual and reproductive health
💬 Confidential counseling and support
🤍 Group psychological support
💡 Opportunities to develop professional and life skills
💰 Basic financial literacy and opportunities for personal development. Representatives from Bayankhongor province’s government and health agencies, youth, and relevant organizations attended the opening ceremony.
