The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Mongolian Family Welfare Association (MFWA), the China Family Planning Association (CFPA), and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Family Planning Association was held on September 13 in Manjuur, China.
The President Ganbold Byamba, Executive Director B.Munkhtsetseg, CFPA Deputy Secretary general Hong Ping, President of Family Planning Association of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Chen Xiao, and Guo Xiaofang, Deputy Mayor of Manzhouli municipal Government of Inner Mongolia and other representatives were present. During the ceremony both associations have exchanged their donation items.
The memorandum is signed for 3 years (2024-2026), and provide support for the Mongolian population’s reproductive health status, and provide an opportunity to exchange experience, train gynecologists in Hohhot Inner Mongolia, and organize medical examinations.
Since 2015, both organizations have successfully implemented the STD/HIV/AIDS project among the mobile population in the regions along the borders of the two countries and it is planned to organize a youth forum and exchange of experience.
